In September of 2005, the Great Overland Book Company's Sausalito location changed hands and became Flying Oliver Books.  The store is named after the Oliver typewriter which dates back to the early 1900's.  The shop is still a General Bookstore featuring Literature, Mystery, Maritime, Biographies, History, Cookbooks, Children's, Poetry and more.
